Membership to the Students Union is automatic for all registered students studying at Cardiff University. However,
we do welcome other members who are able to bring along skills, experience and knowledge.

Why do I need to join?

Membership to Cardiff Volunteering projects at Cardiff University is open solely to members of the
Students’ Union. Membership to the Students’ Union is automatic for all registered students studying at
Cardiff University. However, we do welcome non Cardiff Students who are able to demonstrate that they
may bring skills, experience and knowledge to the project(s) they wish to join.
Cardiff Volunteering projects have a limited capacity for non-students and they are able to decline your
membership application and as a member and you may not be eligible to take part in all activities of
groups.

How much does it cost?

As a volunteer on a Cardiff Volunteering Project this is free.

What happens next?

All applications are reviewed by the Cardiff Volunteering at the Students’ Union and all applicants will be
informed of the success of their application via email if they haven’t been offered a role beforehand.
