Suggested Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Pathankot railway station or Gaggal airport, transfer to Dalhousie. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 2: Visit Panchpula, which offers a short trek to a beautiful waterfall. At the end of the trek, you can find food-shacks offering
coffee and snacks. Later, visit the Satdhara falls, which falls on the way to Panchpula. Satdhara falls is a beautiful water cascade
famous for its seven streams flowing at the same spot.
Day 3: Leave for Khajjiar after breakfast. Visit the Khajjiar ground and lake. You can visit Kalatop Wildlife sanctuary and the
ancient Khajji Nag temple during your visit. Back to Dalhousie.

2. Panch Pulla

Literally meaning 'Five Bridges' Panch Pulla, is a local favorite with
waterfalls, picnic spots as well as a modest trek. It is situated 2 km away
from Dalhousie and one can cover the distance on foot, enjoying the

3. Satdhara Falls

Visit Satdhara Falls are one of the most popular sightseeing attractions of
Dalhousie. Perched at an altitude of 2036 metres above the sea level, the
place has derived its name from the seven beautiful springs, which are
believed to have several therapeutic values. The reason behind this is said
to be the water in these springs, as it comprises of mica, known as
'Gandhak' in local language. The mica has several medicinal properties,
which helps in curing many diseases and ailments. In addition, tourists
visiting the place can enjoy the natural beauty of the place.

4. Kalatop wildlife sanctuary


Open Time : All days of the week- 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
The Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna.

5. River Crossing and River Rafting


River crossing is done across the river Ravi or Saal under the supervision of
trained instructors while River Rafting too is a growing favorite in Chamba,
usually done on the Rivers Ravi and Saal, too.

7. Subhash Baoli
Named after the famous freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, this is a
perennial spring which has medicinal properties and believed to have cured
the freedom fighter of his ill health.

8. Bakrota Hills or Upper Bakrota


This is the highest area in Dalhousie and is circled by a road called Bakrota
walk which leads to Khajjar.

9. St. John Church

This is the oldest church in the town and assumes not only religious
significance but has much historical significance too.
