The students be able to identify the time from the clock .

Make sure that the students can know the hours and minutes and what each hand means.

Manage students behavior.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)

Organize the tables and separate the students it depend of their levels.

Tell the students about the rules and if they don’t follow it they will punish.

Tell the students ST they say PE then they flip their arms.

Chose the students who is siting nicely.

Using classdojo.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)

If at the beginning of lesson the students don’t understand I will try to use Arabic language.

When I am doing my closing I will be checking the students understanding.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

First, the teacher will open a video about the 5 sense and will let the students to wath.

Second she will say today we are going to learn about the 5 sense.

Third, she will show to the students real object like hand, ears, mouth,
eyes and noise. She will explain each one of them.

Forth, she will show in the white board some pictures and some words.

Fifth, she will ask the students ‘’what do this this picture will be?’’ is it
touch, see, taste, hear or smell. Then she will put the picture under the word.

Finally, she will ask the students to come and put the picture under the correct word.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

High group:

First: the teacher will give the students A4 papers with different colors
and some pictures and real objects.

Second: she will ask the students to make 5 boxes and in each box write
touch, see, taste, hear and smell.

Third: she will tell the students to sort the objects and pictures in the correct box.

Independent Experience(small group activity 2)

First: the teacher will give them some cards, some of the are
words which is touch, see, taste, hear and smell, and the others
are pictures.

Second, the teacher will ask the students to put the 5 words
above and sour each picture with correct word.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)

Lower group:

The teacher will the whole group some cards, and some tickets. The
cards including one big pictures and down 3 pictures in small size which
are hand, mouth, noise, ears and eyes.

Second: she will ask the students to put the tick in the correct one.

Tr: will open an online game for whole class on the smart board.

Tr: will say ‘’if you are shooting you will not have a chance to play, but if you are sitting quietly you will

play. and will pic the student who are sitting quietly. the game contains several pictures and some
choses like touch, see, taste, hear and smell.
Closing

Time:

Ss: have to choose the correct answer.


Assessment

Tr: will give each students a small white board, then she will ask them to draw. For example, draw something that
you can eat.

Ss: have to draw and show to the teacher.

Overview of the lesson:

The student introduced the lesson with a short video about the 5 senses. Students were interested
and were able to identify the senses. Students were engage in the activites.
Areas for development:

1- practice the words and pronunciation ahead of time.

2. Class Management.

Describe (D):

Who is the lesson for? The lesson was for grade 2

Where did the lesson take place? It took place in AL Saheen school

What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? I was trying to explain the the 5 senses, using classroom
management in better way and focus in transition strategies.

What did the students do? They were engaged and motivated, most of the students did their activity well
and they were behave.

Analyze (A):

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? The student responded the way that I
taught because the lesson was step by step. First I introduce the lesson by opening the video. Second, I
explained what each sense mean . third, we sort the pictures with the correct sense. Forth, they did the
activities and finally the closing which is online game.

How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding? Before the students had
background about these the 5 sense because they used every day in their life.

How well did you engage the students? I saw that most of the students were engaged and motivate
because I was trying to make the best environment in the class, most of the students were sitting quietly
and participated. I was keep rewarding the good students and the once who answer correctly by say
positive reinforcement or add extra dojo points .although there were some bad behaviors

Did your lesson meet your teaching goals? Yes, my lesson meet my teaching goals, because at the end of
the lesson most of the students were able to know the 5 senses . Moreover, in the closing and formative
assessment I had check their understanding and most of the students answer correctly I saw they were
able to do it.

How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?

2Manage my sound, when I ask them to repeat after me I will use different level of sounds like one time is
loudly and then softly and I will use my hand to indicate the amount of volume.

3-Ask children to explain their reasons(turn and talk) so they can show their understanding.

What are the implications for your professional practice?

Using classdojo helps to motivate the students.

Tr: Say to the students ST and ss OP and every one site quietly.

Tr: tell the students if you are not sitting quietly I will not give a chance to play the online game.

Tr: tell the students I will take off your classdojo pints.
