Introductory Offer for Galaxy Note 8

Terms & Conditions:

1. Samsung India Electronics Private Limited announces the Introductory Offer


(“Offer”) on Galaxy Note8 (“Device”).

2. The Introductory Offer is valid for any customer who purchases the device from
12th September to 21st October 2017 from either Online or Offline outlets. This
will also include the customers who had pre-booked the device during the period
12th September to 21st September 2017.

3. For customers pre-booking the Device, the online booking can be done on
Samsung Shop i.e. https://shop.samsung.com/in
4. Only one Product can be pre-booked against one mobile number during the
Offer Period. If you have already pre-booked a Device with one mobile number
you will not be eligible to avail this Offer again with the same mobile number
during the offer period. All pre-book customers activating the Device should
have registered with the same mobile number for a minimum period of 03
(three) days from the date of inserting the SIM in first SIM slot for the first time.
This applies to non-pre-book customers as well. Also the first sign in to My
Galaxy should be with the same mobile number with which the Device has been
first activated.

5. In case a customer is already registered in My Galaxy App it is advisable to


activate the Device with the same mobile number with which it is registered on
My Galaxy, if not customer is required to do a fresh sign-in to My Galaxy App and
create a new account.

6. On successful purchase and activation of the Device in the manner and time lines
as stipulated in the below mentioned clauses, you will be eligible for a Free
Wireless Charger, One Time Screen Replacement at Rs. 990 only and Rs 4,000
cashback on HDFC credit cards. The redemption procedure for the respective
offers is mentioned in clauses below. It is clarified that the timelines mentioned
in the below clauses shall be the same for customers who have already pre-
booked the Device during the Introductory Offer period i.e. between 12 th
September to 21st September 2017.
7. Purchasing Device on e-store:

(7.1.i) If you are purchasing the Device on Samsung Shop i.e.


Samsung e-store, you will have to make a full payment of the
amount as declared on the Samsung Shop (Samsung e-store)
during the period 12th September to 21st October, 2017 i.e. the
purchase of the Device has to be completed within the period
mentioned herein.
(7.1.ii) The price of the Device as listed on Samsung Shop
(Samsung e-store) shall be inclusive of all taxes.
(7.1.iii) While purchasing you will have to fill in the required
details as mentioned on the respective portals such as your name,
mobile number (please read clause 4 above), email id, model
number and color of the Device, without which your booking will
be incomplete.
(7.1.iv) Once you purchase the Device you will receive a
notification vide SMS / email from the portal confirming your
registration.
(7.1.v) Your Device will be dispatched from 21 st September 2017
onwards and you will be notified for the same via SMS or email by
the portal.
(7.1.vi) The shipping of the Device will be subject to availability of
stocks.
(7.1.vii) In order to be eligible for the Introductory Offer, you will
be required to activate the Device on or before 31 st October, 2017
failing which you will not be eligible for the offer and no claims
shall be entertained either against Samsung or its authorized
partners.

8. In case of purchase through Samsung Shop, Samsung India Electronics Private


Limited will not be responsible or liable for supply of the Device as the same is
being sold by Savex Computers Limited (“Savex”) respectively:
(i) Any wrong submission of required details including but not
limited to shipping details;
(ii) Any failure to receive submissions due to transmission failures
and other conditions beyond its reasonable control;
(iii) Any late transmissions or entries;
(iv) Any computer or communications related malfunctions or
failures;
(v) Any delay, damage, non receipt, lost, misrouted delivery of
Device.
(vi) Any delay due to non-availability of stocks or for any other reason
beyond its control.
(vii) Any delay or loss or damage due to Act of God, Governmental
actions, and any other force majeure circumstances.

9. Purchasing Device at select Samsung Stores (“Outlet”):

(9.1.i) To purchase the Device at the select Samsung stores


(“Outlet”) you have to do the registration via the Pre-book app (In
case of pre-booking only) available with the Samsung promoters
at the respective Outlets and complete the purchase during 21st
September to 21st October, 2017. In case of purchase without pre-
booking, purchase needs to be completed during 22 nd Sep to 21st
October, 2017.
(9.1.ii) While Pre-booking, you will have to enter some of your
details such as your name, mobile number (please read clause 4
above), email id, model number and color of the Device, without
which your booking will be incomplete.
(9.1.iii) You have to purchase the Device by way of making the
payment through credit card, debit card, net-banking or cash or
any other mode of payment acceptable at the Outlet on or before
21st October 2017 and activate the Device on or before 21 st
October 2017, failing which you will not be eligible for the Offer
and no claims shall be entertained in this regard against Samsung
or its partners/dealers.

10. Once the customer receives/collects and activates the Device he/she will have
to follow the process given hereunder to redeem the free Wireless Charger.
The Process to redeem Free Wireless Charger is as under:
(10.1.i) Fresh enrolment/sign in to the pre-loaded My Galaxy app
must be completed by 30th November 2017 failing which the
customer will not be eligible for the offer.

(10.1.ii) Registration & first sign in to My Galaxy to be done with same


mobile number used for activating the Product. In case any
other mobile number is used, the customer will not be eligible
to avail the offer.

(10.1.iii) In case customer is already a My Galaxy user, it is


advisable that he/she pre-books & activates the Product with
the same mobile number with which he is registered in the My
Galaxy application or else creates a new account with the
number he/she has used for pre-booking & activating the
Product.

(10.1.iv) Customer will be able to view the offer banner on the


Home Screen of My Galaxy App within approximately 3 - 4
days of signing in /registering in to My Galaxy App,

(10.1.v) Customer can generate the “Free Wireless Charger” coupon


code from My Galaxy App by clicking on the offer banner.

(10.1.vi) Coupon will be valid for one time use only against
redemption of the Free Wireless Charger.

(10.1.vii) The Customer can redeem the Coupon at


www.shop.samsung.com/in by clicking on ‘Use Coupon’ tab,
latest by 30th November 2017.

(10.1.viii) The shipping of Free Wireless Charger


will happen within 90 (ninety) days from the day of placing
order for the same at Samsung Shop (i.e. Samsung e-store).

9. The Free Wireless Charger shall be on “As-IS” basis and will be delivered subject
to the stock availability.

10. One Time Screen Replacement Offer at Rs. 990 –

(i) You will also be eligible for a One Time Screen Replacement
Offer if you purchase and activate the Device within the
stipulated time period as mentioned above, by paying just
Rs.990 at the time of replacement. The offer can be availed
starting from 7th day post the date of activation of the Product
till a period of 12 months from the date of activation. The
offer can be availed only once by visiting the authorized
service center of Samsung.

(ii) Before availing the Offer, you will be required to handover a


copy of the invoice to the authorized service center, issued by
the respective Online or Offline Outlet at the time of purchase
of the Device and produce the original invoice along with the
same for verification.

(iii) In case any documents/invoice are prima facie found to be


false & fabricated or the original invoice is either lost or torn,
you shall not be eligible for the Offer and the same shall stand
forfeited and no claims shall be entertained in this regard.

(iv) Forfeiture of the One Time Screen Replacement Offer - In


case you activate the Device after the Offer Period you will not
be eligible for the offer. Also you do not avail this offer within
12 months from the date of the Device activation the offer
shall stand forfeited and no claims will be entertained in this
regard against Samsung.
(v) One time screen replacement shall be on “As-Is” basis & as per
part(s) availability. Samsung shall not be responsible for its
non-availability due to various reasons like climatic conditions,
labour unrest, insolvency, business exigencies, Government
decisions, operational & technical issues or any other force
majeure conditions etc.

(vi) This Offer cannot be exchanged with any other product or


item, is non-transferable & cannot be en-cashed under any
circumstances.

11. Besides the above offer customers will also be eligible for an Upgrade Offer. For
more details you may visit https://s3.cashify.in/mygalaxy/tnc.html. This offer is
provided by Cashify at its sole discretion and Samsung disclaims any/all
claims/liabilities associated with this offer.

12. In addition to the above you will also be eligible for another offer being Rs.
4,000/- Cashback on HDFC credit cards. All customers who purchase Note8,
between 12th September to 31st December 2017 using HDFC Bank Credit Cards to
be eligible for the cashback of INR 4,000. Cashback will be processed to the
customer’s card account with 120 days of completion of the transaction. Any
partial payments (towards EMI or Regular Transactions) will not be eligible for
the Cashback. All EMI and regular transactions need to be under 'Brand EMI' and
applicable as stated in the charge slip. Customers are advised to retain their
charge slip for 180 days. Offer valid for purchase at select participating stores
only and valid till December 31, 2017. Samsung disclaims any/all claims or
liabilities with respect to the above mentioned offer. Under no circumstances
shall Samsung and/or its affiliates &/or their directors, employees, agents or
officers be held responsible for any part of these offers. Offers are subject to
change without prior notice.
13. By availing the Offer, it would be deemed that the customers have given their
consent to contact them through call, SMS or email on the details provided by
them for the purpose of this Offer or for any future communications from
Samsung.

14. Product images, features, specifications shown here are for representational
purposes only, the actual product may vary. Offer available till stocks lasts.

15. Samsung reserves the right to change, extend, amend and/or withdraw the Offer
or change any of these terms & conditions anytime without prior notice.

16. Samsung also reserves the right to substitute the Free Wireless Charger or One
Time Screen Replacement at Rs. 990/- with any other Product(s)/gift(s)/offer(s)
of equivalent value under this Offer at its sole discretion without giving any
reasons thereof. The choice as to the color, make & model of the gift(s) shall be
completely at Samsung’s discretion. No claims shall be entertained in this regard.

17. All disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts located at Delhi.
