Personal Statement
I am a good understanding and caring person who likes meeting new people. I have a
passion for music, art, film, fashion and different languages and cultures as well as
meeting new people. I enjoy learning new things and have just finished my undergraduate
degree in performance industries at The Academy of Music and Sound in Glasgow. I am
looking for a job where I can learn new skills as well as utilize existing ones. I am
available to work at various times during the week as well as at weekends, as I have more
availability due to finishing university.

Employment and Voluntary Work


WorkAway Volunteer – Housework and basic childcare (February – May 2017)
Live in help for a family of five. I worked in exchange for accommodation and food and
helped with various tasks including regular cleaning, dog care and care for a ten-year-old
child.
Music4U – Volunteer Guitar Teacher (November 2014 – June 2015)
I volunteered at a special needs charity in Aberdeen helping a teenager in preparation for
their music exams at school.
Aberdeen International Youth Festival - Events Team (July 2014)
I carried out various tasks during the weeklong festival, such as doing front of house and
box office at some venues and helping to make the festival ready for the arrival of the
participating groups.
Tulloch & Co - Trainee (Jul 2013)
I worked at a law firm in London for a month, my main duties included filing and
printing and scanning documents.
St. Andrew's School, Inverurie - S6 Volunteer (Aug 2012 - Jun 2013)
I volunteered at this school for all of my 6th year. Where I helped children in music
classes.
