EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 01 Series of 2018

AN EXECUTIVE ORDER DECLARING A ONE-WAY ROUTE IN THE

STRETCH OF MISOLA STREET, BARANGAY POBLACION SOUTH,
STA. CRUZ, ZAMBALES

WHEREAS, in accordance to Section 21 Paragraph D of Republic Act No. 7160 known

as the Local Government Code of 1991, any city, municipality, or Barangay may, by a
duly enacted close and regulate the use of any local ordinance, temporarily street, road,
thoroughfare, or any other public place where shopping malls, Sunday, flea or night
markets, or shopping areas may be established and where goods, merchandise,
foodstuffs, commodities, or articles of commerce may be sold and dispensed to the
general public;

WHEREAS, due to a major increase in vehicles passing through Misola Street going to
the temporarily public market located in Barangay Poblacion South resulted to traffic
congestion and slow movement of vehicles;

WHEREAS, through series of discussions and consultations with Sta. Cruz Traffic
Management, Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station and other stakeholders in order to
resolve the prevailing issue, it was highly recommended to implement one-way traffic
route going to the temporary public market

WHEREAS, the one-way route is seen as one of the effective strategies in order to
decongest traffic and resolve the condition in the aforementioned area;

NOW THEREFORE, by virtue of powers vested in me by law I, LUISITO E. MARTY,

Municipal Mayor of Sta. Cruz, Zambales, do hereby declare a One-Way Route in the
stretch of Misola Street, Barangay Poblacion South, Sta. Cruz, Zambales starting
January 5, 2018.
