2/3 days
The 2 or 3 day programmes are mainly organized for the backpackers who are traveling around
South India. The 2 or 3 day programmes are focusing on one of the districts in Tamil Nadu, the
district tours can be combined with a tour through Madurai, the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu
with its beautiful and colorful Meenakshi temple complex.

Madurai Heritage Tour


Madurai is the colorful cultural capital of Tamil
Nadu has many ancient heritage sites to offer. The
beautiful and colorful Meenakshi temple is situated
in the city center of Madurai and represents the
beauty of the city. Inside the temple you can walk
around through the colorful walls, watch the
thousands statues and you may get a blessing of the
temple elephant. Besides the big Meenakshi temple
there are several ancient rock cut temples and Jain
monuments around the city of Madurai which are
definitely worth to visit. Not only temples but also
the big palace of Madurai and other important
heritage sites will be visited during this Madurai
heritage tour. Besides the architecture, you will also
visit some small craft factories were the local people
are making handmade handicrafts. Near to Madurai
there is a craft factory where the local people are
making dolls and is very nice
to visit.

Tirunelveli district is the southernmost district of Tamil
Nadu and India. It district gives you a glimpse into the
daily life of the locals of Tamil Nadu. Visit one of the many
ancient but colorful temples or the rivers where the locals
swim, wash and clean. Moreover you can wake up after a
refreshing shower under one of the numerous waterfalls.

and more breath taking nature. Tirunelveli district is also
well known for its handmade mud pot production and
absolutely fascinating to visit.

Rameshwaram Tour

Costs

For the 2/3 day programme we charge €75 per day, per person. This price the accommodation
(on twin share basis), air-conditioned local travels, food, water, entry fees and one handicraft
gift.

The minimum group for the 2/3 day programme is 5 persons*.


* It is possible to travel in a group with less than 5 persons but the costs will be more

The costs of the flight, visa and other arrangements are for the tourists’ own responsibility.

The starting point of the 2/3 programme will be in Madurai or Chennai (depends on the tourists
arrival place).

We expect the people to practice the local charter in dress code and behavior.

The reservation has to be done at least one month before the departure date.

The payment is 100% in advance by bank transfer.
