Relationship of the Level of Knowledge about Diabetes Melitus Pasient

Poli Penyakit Dalam RSU. dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso

Diabetes melitus can attack all levels of age and sosioeconomic layers of
Indonesian society that is offset by the increased prosperity, income capita, as
well as lifestye changes. The prevalence of the disease of diabetes melitus caused
by increased due to lifestyle change, one of which is the increase in the number
of colories that are eat or high glucose levels.

This research aims to know the relationship between diabetes melitus

patients, knowledge about diabetes melitus prevention of recurrence behavior of
diabetes melitus. In this case the research method used is descriptive research
correlation. A large sample of 30 respondents, using the technique of sampling
acidental. This research was conducted on 11-13 February 2015 in poly disease in
RSU dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso. Retrieving data using questionnaires and
question from heets, using behavioral and demographic data concerning ( age,
education, information, job, experience ).

Dari hasil pengujian statistik menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rho

dengan SPSS antara variabel pengetahuan dan variabel perilaku didapatkan
signifikasi sebesar 0,011 dengan (α) 0,05. Maka, H1 diterima artinya ada
hubungan antara Pengetahuan Pasien Diabetes Melitus tentang Diabetes Melitus
dengan Perilaku Pencegahan Kekambuhan Diabetes Melitus.

Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara

Pengetahuan Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tentang Diabetes Melitus Dengan Perilaku
Pencegahan Kekambuhan Diabetes Melitus di Poli Penyakit Dalam RSU dr H
Koesnadi Bondowoso. Diharapkan seluruh pasien diabetes melitus lebih aktif lagi
dalam mencari informasi tentang penyakit Diabetes serta pencegahan diabetes
melitus
