Weapon use in México

(Against)
It is known that México had weapons since it won its independence from Spain. At
that time Mexico had no major facilities for producing additional weapons necessary
for its army, it subsequently procured arms from other sources. In 1820 México
bought a large number of weapons.
According to a research from Stratfor Enterprises eighty seven percent of the
weapons in Mexico belong to Mexican cartels and criminals. The major part of this
weapons come from United States.
On the other hand citizens own 15 000 000 guns, this includes licit and illicit
weapons. This high number of guns trigger many deaths because everyone can have
access to one. Psychologists say that, in order to be able to carry a weapon, you
should pass some tests before owning one, the problem in México is the corruption.
The annual rate of all gun deaths per 100,000 population is 27,213 in 2016
according to the international firearm injury prevention and policy.
On January 18, 2017 a 15 year old boy shooted a teacher and three other students
before killing himself.

As a consequence of the environment we are living now, people are starting seeing
the violence as something normal and something we have to live with. If we don't
try to change this, our humanity would disappear little by little.
