INTELLIGENCE BY ALFRED DAVID)

Mr. Alfred David explained how AI is evolving day by day and making our life
easy. AI research is highly technical and specialized, so much so that some critics
decry the fragmentation of the field. The central problems of AI include such
traits as reasoning, knowledge, planning, learning, communication, perception
and the ability to move and manipulate objects. Early AI researchers developed
algorithms that imitated the step-by-step reasoning that human beings use when
they solve puzzles, play board games or make logical deductions.

LEARNING OUTCOME: We have gained the knowledge of AI. And how it

affecting our life and how it is the future of our lives.

TIME - 09:00-11:00 (A PRESENTATION ON DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM BY

AMIT JAYEE)

Mr. Amit gave a brief introduction about the distributed system. Like how
distributes systems works. We also understand how E-commerce websites like
Amazon, Flipkart, etc websites manages the loads via load shedding. And how
multiple servers are attached via different types scaling i.e. vertical scaling and
horizontal scaling.

LEARNING OUTCOME: we learnt about types of scaling and about the working
of distributed systems. And the working of e-commerce websites during the
heavy load of users acsess.

TIME - 09:00 – 11:00 (A BRIEF PRESENTATION ON J2EE BY KUSHAL)

Mr. Kushal gave us brief introduction about the Java Enterprise Edition. He
taught about the deploying of software products on the server and how the data
exchange with multiple systems using REST API and SOAP. And how different
tools and frameworks for development like Maven, ANT and
Html/JS/jQuery/NodeJS, spring/struts, JDBC/hibernate for DB Access, etc.

LEARNING OUTCOME: we learnt about different types of files and how each
type of file is responsible for deployment of software on the servers. We learnt
about different types of frameworks and tools for the development for UI and
backend.
