INGREDENTS:

125g of flour
A pinch of salt
1 egg and 1 yolk
300 ml of liquid whole
milk
15ml of melted butter
Pure maple honey or
butter

Canadian trempettes
PREPARATION:
First, mix the flour and salt in a
large bowl.
Make a hole in the center of the
flour and add the egg and the yolk.
Slowly add half of the milk stirring
continuously.
Add the melted butter and beat the
mixture until you get a creamy
consistency.
Add the rest of the milk.
Leave the dough at rest for 1 hour.
Cook on low heat (2 minutes per
side)
Finally, serve the Trempettes with a
generous portion of honey.

the "Royal Canadian Mounted
Police" and the hockey
costume stand out. But it is
considered typical to dress in
white, red and use an
accessory with the maple leaf.
