Do you have any idea what different families with different cultures do to share with people they love?

Well they do different things, and my project is about two different cultures in two different families. The
two families have different ways to share with someone. The culture one is the familiar culture, it is about
what my family do each day. The culture two is the unfamiliar culture, and it is about how another family
share to each other. The link between the two cultures is how each family share to each other and how
they demonstrate their love.

Familiar culture is about my family and how we share each day telling what happened during the day. I
choose this as a familiar culture because I want to share with other people how we love each other each
day. My best photo is where my family is eating together and where my father is sharing with my uncle
and my uncleʼs wife, I like those photos because my family is sharing. I was using different angles and the
photos represent the love that we have to share. What my familiar photos represent is the love that we
have to each other each day.

Unfamiliar culture is about what other family do in their house and how they share. I choose this as a
familiar culture because I want to tell by photos what other familyʼs do, and how they share to each other.
My best photo is where the mom is playing with the boy, I like that photo because it shows how they love
and how she tries to have time to play with him. I am using this two people to represent how some parents
play with their children and how they demonstrate them how much they love him. What my unfamiliar
photos represent is how people is happy sharing with their family.

The two cultures are different because each family do different things to share, the familiar culture the
family share what happened during the day and they share eating. The unfamiliar culture the share in
different way they share playing. The link between this two families is that they share in different way but
share the love that they have to each other. The two photos that best describe the link for familiar culture
is where the father is sharing with man and the manʼs wife, and they are sharing with coffee, the other
photo is where the father and mother are eating together. For unfamiliar culture the two photos that best
describes the link is where the mother is playing with their child and where they sister is playing with their
brother. What the two culture have in common is the love who have each family and the form in that they
demonstrate their love one to other.

My project has two different families with two different cultures and each culture and family share love.
What I learned about these two different cultures is that each family share their love in different ways.
Photography is an important tool that help me to tell stories that describe the world, the photos can
transmit feelings, and could tell what is happening around the world.

 My name is Estefany Ortiz, I was born in Guatemala. I lived with my grandparents and my
cousins, my grandparents took care of me and they taught me good education. Guatemala is a
beautiful place, and have beautiful places. What involved me in photography was my
grandfather, because he had cameras and he took pictures of the family. My interest in
photography is to show the people the different cultures of each person. I started studying
photography in Steam High School with Miss Herrera.

My inspiration for this project was the culture of my family because each family have a
different culture and I want to show the different cultures between two families. Where I shoot
photos was in my house and in another familyʼs house because I wanted to shoot photos of
what each family do. When I shoot the photos, I was quiet because I feel more sure of what I do
if Iʼm quiet. The tools I used were a camera, Photoshop, and two different families.

What I try to tell in my photos is how one family is different to another family, how they
do different things, and how their cultures are different. My photos are about two different
families with different cultures.

My inspiration is the different cultures in the world and what I want is to show everyone
the differences. What I enjoy about photography is explore the places, take pictures of the
estrange people and learn different things from different people. I think photography is
important to the world because we can show different things, feelings and we can
communicate with people by pictures.
