In line with the pursuit of the Department of Communication towards academic

excellence, the Internship (Practicum) course is specifically designed for the
Communication majors with the following purposes:
1. Acquisition of the basic competency skills in Radio, Television,
Film, and Audio-Video Production:
2. Development of student’s writing skills for Radio, Television,
Film, Advertising, and PR Campaigns;
3. Enhancement of the Organizational, Entrepreneurial and
Management Skills;
4. Development of the values of honesty and discipline among
trainees in their respective workplaces; and,
5. Establishment of probable place of employment after graduation.

Specifically, this Internship will require the trainees to finish 200 hours work time. In
addition, there are various requirements that should be strictly observed as stated in the
documents sent to and taken by the intern. Should there be some questions, please feel

department.
