A. CONTENT STANDARD – The learners demonstrate an understanding one’s PEC’s in
cookery
B. PERFORMANCE STANDARD – The learners recognize his/her PECs and prepare an
activity plan that aligns that with that of a practitioner/entrepreneur in cookery
C. LEARNING COMPETENCIES/OBJECTIVES (LCCODE)–
1.1 assess one’s pecs: characteristics ,lifestyle, skills, traits
1.2 compare one’s pecs with those of an entrepreneur

A. Present to the students the importance of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship (Show
pictures)
B. The students will read and understand the objectives of the lesson
C. Discuss the importance of assessing personal entrepreneurial competencies (PEC’s)
D.Perform Task 4 ( PEC’s Checklist ) of LM page 15. Let the students have their own personal
insights based from the accomplished task. Let them identify areas for improvement,
development, and growth.
E.Divide the class into 3 groups and let them accomplish task 5 of LM page 16
F. Answer the guide questions in LM page 16
G.Provide learners examples to further deepen their understanding about PEC’s and its
importance in day-to-day living as future entrepreneurs or workers.
H.Have the students make generalizations about the lesson
I. Short Quiz. Ask the students to answer questions in LM page 18.
J. Assignment
Why is there a need to compare and align one PEC’s with the PEC’s of a successful
entrepreneur?
