Re: Article published on 6/10/18: “Coffee County- Call a Real Trial Lawyer For Your
County Commissioners, Elba Mayor and Counsel, and Coffee County EMS Board”

Dear Mr. Stokes:

I am writing to you on behalf of Haynes Ambulance of Troy, LLC regarding the article
published via RickyStokesNews.com on June 10, 2018 entitled: “Coffee County-Call a Real
Trial Lawyer For Your County Commissioners, Elba Mayor and Counsel and Coffee County
EMS Board.” In that article, statements were made concerning Haynes Ambulance that are not
only misleading, but false and defamatory, including the following:

1. “On Friday, June 8, 2018, Coffee County EMS, under the direction of Haynes
Ambulance service of Troy, with the authority of Coffee County Commissioners
(except Jim Thompson) and Elba Mayor and Elba City Council, placed lives in
danger.”

2. “But their incompetence and stupidity can cause lives or permanent physical or
mental damage to a patient.”

Please be advised Coffee County EMS was not under the direction of Haynes Ambulance
service of Troy on Friday, June 8, 2018 as Haynes has not yet assumed the contract to provide
services for Coffee County EMS. As such, statements in the article regarding Haynes Ambulance
as referenced above are false and appear to be intentionally misleading.

Haynes Ambulance hereby demands retraction of the false statements in the same
medium as the statements were originally published within ten (10) days of the date of
publication. Should you fail to retract the false statements in the manner prescribed above and
cease to make any further false/defamatory statements, Haynes Ambulance will be left with no
alternative but to consider appropriate legal action.
