This class explores policy ideas and initiatives that seek to

improve educational conditions and outcomes of Latino
students in K-12 and Higher Education. Utilizing diverse
theoretical approaches topics to be explored include: Charter
Schools; For-Profit Postsecondary Institutions; Testing and
Accountability; School Discipline; Pre-college programs; and
Ethnic Studies in Schools.
