Introduction
Call of Duty® 2 redefines the cinematic intensity and chaos of

(4) Notes
Video Mode
Allows you to set the screen resolution for the game. IMPORTANT
NOTE: You should
not adjust your in-game screen resolution to a setting beyond what
your monitor can
support. You should consult your monitor's documentation in order to
learn about
supported resolutions.
Aspect Ratio
Allows you to adjust the aspect ratio of the game. Wide 16:9 and Wide
16:10 are for
widescreen monitors. If you are unsure of what setting to pick, you can
use the "Auto"
setting to allow the game to pick for you.
Texture Filter
Anti-Alisasing
Allows users to switch between Normal, High, and Auto. Users unsure
as to which is correct
should choose AUTO.
Brightness
Setting this option to "Yes" will synchronize the game's redraw rate
with your monitor's
refresh rate. This will minimize graphical "tearing" at the expense of
some performance.
Shadows
*Please note that the shadows option is not available on intel Macs
yet due to a compatibility
issue that we are working to resolve. Please see our support site for
updates.
Number Of Corpses
Texture Settings
Master Volume
Controls the volume for music, sound effects, and voices. Move the
slider to the right to
increase the overall volume of the game.

Subtitles
Enable Crosshair

Enable Console
Display Configuration
If you have more than one display connected to your computer, holding
down the Command key while the game first starts up will show a
dialog which lets you select the display you want to play on. Also from
this dialog you can configure the game to run in a window instead of
full screen. (Window mode requires that your display be set to millions
of colors before running the game. Window mode is not available for
multiplayer games.)
When running a server, the idle sleep should be turned off. Under
SYSTEM PREFERENCES -> ENERGY SAVER, drag the sliders all the way
to the right (NEVER). If your server goes to sleep, it will disconnect all
users.
Call Of Duty 2 allows you to play multiplayer games over a LAN (Local
Area Network) or the Internet using the game's built in game browser.
Network play requires the use of port number 28960. If your network is
using a firewall, this port may need to be open in order to play Call Of
Duty 2 over the Internet. You can find additional details here:

The user interface makes use of the Function row of keys (F1-F12)
which are enabled for different functions on portable Macs such as
contrast and volume control. These keys can still be used as Function
keys on PowerBooks and iBooks using a modifier key. The "fn" key, in
the lower left corner of any Mac portable's keyboard, has to be pressed
while the specific "F" key is also pressed to have that key act as the
Function key.

Some of your key commands may conflict with a feature of the Mac OS
called "Exposé". Although you can remap the keys for Exposé in
System Preferences, the default System Hotkeys for Exposé are not
bindable in Windowed mode.
Keys F10 - F12 are not bindable in Windowed mode, as the system
hotkeys overide the application. In any mode, SP or MP, F14 through
F16 and CapsLock are all unbindable keys.
d. LCD Screens
Due to the limitations of LCD screen technology, iMac users will not be
able to change their screen refresh rate.
