    To hide columns in WEBI, you first select the alerter option and click new button to access the screen for setting up column hiding. You then select the object or cell you want to filter and set the operator and operands so the condition for hiding the column is met. When the condition is true, you click the format button and set the font and background colors to white and border to none. Finally, you apply the alerter to the field you wish to hide from view.

    Step by Step for Column hiding in WEBI:

    1. Click alerter option as below

    2. Next step: You will get the screen as below

    3. Next Step: After clicking new button ,you will find screen as below
    4. Next step: Then select the filtered object or cell by clicking the button as below
    5. Next Step: In my case I have selected ordertotal as filtered object

    6. Next Step: After that I have selected the operator and operands to achieve column hiding. These
    values you have to put in such a fashion so that condition becomes true and we can for format
    option.
    7. Next Step: Click Format Button (if condition is true) and set font color, background color as
    white. Also set border value to none, as done below.

    8. Then click ok
    9. Apply this alerter to the field, which you want to hide.
