Jakarta, the rate of rupiah against the US dollar (USA) is above the resistance level Rp.
12.160 per USD. The rate of rupiah is currentlu trying to turn higher. Head of research Woori
Korindo Securities Indonesia (WKSI) Priyambada Reza said, in spit of this, the speed is stiil
vulnerable to a reversal of the direction and movement also tend to be varied.

“Rupiah in trading today, according to the exchange rate of Bank Indonesia (BI) is expected
to be in the range Rp. 12.160 – Rp. 12.100 per USD” he explained in the research, Monday
(21/12/2011). Previously, rupiah is succesfully appreciated after market participants
responded positively to the release of the data the German and French were better than
before so it influenced the rate of the Euro. The expectation of a decline in poyrolls would
made the dollar rate hit profit taking and weak.

“ On the other hand, thin strengthening yen after the release of the increase in Japanese
investement. Weaknes the dollar so it can be used to strength the rupiah.” He explained.
