The major stumbling block for many of these international students is


the lack of funding available. Already, churches in Illinois, Ohio,
Indiana, and Pennsylvania have chosen to help sponsor current students
from the Dominican Republic. Would you pray with us that God would
provide the means for MSCC as an international training center, where
students do not have to learn English first, they can study in their own
language, and where formal Bible and ministry training is offered not
only to the wealthy but for everyone whom God has called.

The fourth major project update has to do with Yoisa’s kitchen. She
has been the cook at MSCC for the last two years, struggling with

(and one from Croton), told me just today, “I don’t know how she

if she is to cook for even more students this fall. We hope to install a
new commercial gas stove with its vented hood but are waiting on

The fifth major project involves a return trip to Honduras this
