1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
(A) NATIONALITY / CITIZENSHIP
A candidate must be either i) a citizen of India or ii) a subject of
Nepal or iii) a subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who
came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention
of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin
who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East
African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of
Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia,
Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of
permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate
belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) above shall be a
person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been
issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose
case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to
the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final
selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the
necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him by
the Government of India.
(B) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND POST
QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE
Note: (a) Post qualification experience should be full time and
will be counted from the date of acquiring the prescribed
qualification upto the date of application. (b) Educational
Qualifications and Post Qualification Experience should be
as on the date of application. (c) Experience in the relevant
field of the post applied for, will only be counted. (d)
Candidates whose result is awaited are not eligible.
POST CODE NO. 01 - DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
(INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) (TEG Scale - VI or on
contract basis for 3 years) :
Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Computer Science and
Engineering/Information Science and Engineering/Electronic
and Communication Engineering/or related disciplines) or
M.Sc./MCA in Computer Science/Software Engineering/
Computer Applications or MBA with Systems as
Specialisation or M.Sc./M.Com/CA with Diploma in
Computers of duration of minimum 6 months or A Graduate
from any recognized Universities/Institutions. Desirable:
Certifications such as CISA/CISM/CISCONA/ ORACLE.
Experience: A minimum total experience of 10 years out of
which 5 years should have been with a Bank or Banking
Software Company (with CMMI Level 4 atleast) as an Officer
and 5 years in the IT Department of a Bank/Banking Software
Company (with CMMI Level 4 atleast) / a major organization
having a centralized transaction processing data centre
connected to about 6000 users across the country - out of
which atleast 3 years at a lead position (CM/AGM) level
managing either a data centre or a network or application
software installation and operations. Desirable: 1. Managed
IT Department of a Bank or a major organization. 2. Involved
in the design of IT systems such as servers, networking or in
policy formulations for IT/Information Security of a Bank.

(INFORMATION SECURITY) (SMG Scale - V) :
Qualification: First Class (with a minimum of 60% marks)
graduate or First Class (with a minimum of 60% marks) post
graduate. Pass in the CA examination of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India is desirable. CISA is essential.
Experience: Knowledge / Experience in data bases /
information engineering / information audit. 3 years work
experience in information security is essential.

3. SELECTION PROCEDURE : The selection will be made
on the basis of interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility
norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for
interview. The Bank reserves the right to call only the
requisite number of candidates for the interview after
preliminary screening/short listing with reference to
candidates' qualification, suitability, experience etc.

7. ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF
MISCONDUCT: Candidates are advised in their own interest
that they should not furnish any particulars that are false,

At the time of interview, if a candidate is (or has been) found
guilty of : i) using unfair means or ii) impersonating or procuring
