Vanilla Cake With White Chocolate

250gm white chocolate , chopped

3 cups plain flour (maida)

2 tsp baking powder

1 1/4 cups powdered sugar

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla essence

1/4 cup butter (unsalted)

1/2 tsp salt

Method

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and keep aside.

Melt the chocolate and set aside.

Melt the butter and sugar till it becomes creamy.

Then beat melted chocolate and vanilla essence together and set aside.

Add the flour mixture and milk slowly to the butter mixture stir continuously.

Beat well and pour the batter into a greased tin and bake at 175 º c for 25-30 mins.

Cool and serve.

White Chocolate Cake

250g butter

200g white chocolate

1 cup sugar

3/4 cup milk

1 & 1/3 cup plain flour


1 cup SR flour (add 2tsp baking powder as sub)

3 eggs

To a cold pan add milk, butter, white chocolate and sugar

Melt it all together slowly at low heat while stirring

Leave the mixture to cool

To a large bowl add flour and SR flour. Otherwise sift together flour and baking powder.

Add the chocolate mixture

Then add the eggs and give a good mix through

Line the cake tin with two layers of baking paper

Bake at pre heated oven at 180 C for 1 hour 20 mins
