The highest percentage of age group was 26-35 years old (30.2%). The most common
operation was operations of long bone fractures. Among the subjects, the proportion
of patients who had aminoglycoside and had white blood cell count <10.500 was
higher (65.9) than patients with white blood cell count >10.500.

CONCLUSION Aminoglycoside for 5 days after orthopedic surgery lead to

lower incidence of surgical wound infection.
