It gives me an immense sense of happiness and honor to announce that Dream India
Schools is all set to commence its Academic session 2018-19, with enthusiasm and commitment

I would expect my teachers and faculty to prepare students to be creative thinkers, who
are able to reason, solve problems and create new knowledge to enable them to follow any path
they might choose as they become tomorrow’s citizens. Being prepared to teach every subject in
the curriculum is an essential skill for all school teachers, and good lesson planning is a critical
tool for coping with the workload, as well as for wowing your pupils. This annual plan is an
attempt to aid every subject teacher in the DIS ecosystem. I suggest you all to go through each
and every word, assimilate, follow, improvise and implement this academic plan with dedication
and without deviation. Common Academic Planning is one of the USP’s of DIS and Annual plan
occupies a significant role in ensuring this. In addition to this we expect the teachers to follow
certain principles like

• It is the responsibility of the teacher to be up to date with respect to recent developments
in his/her fields.

• A teacher should regularly engage in a process of reflection on her own professional

activity in order to improve her own practice.

• A teacher is expected to engage in professional development throughout his/her career

in an autonomous way.
