QUIRINO STATE UNIVERSITY (Vision, Mission, Goals)

Each of us has its own Mission. Each of us has its own Goals and Visions. Each of
us has its own agenda that’s why we enrolled in such institution.
The mission statement provides the organization with a clear and effective guide for
making decisions.

The University’s Mission to develop competent and morally upright professional

means that the University aims to produce professionals and successful graduates
that are competent not only here in the Philippines but also Internationally which the
University would be proud of. Morally upright individuals who carry with them the
values they learned from the University. Generate appropriate knowledge and
technologies to meet the needs of Quirino Province and Southern Cagayan Valley
means the ideal setup for quality education. The environment from where the
learning happens must be conducive, child-friendly, gender-sensitive and safe for the
learners. The teachers should facilitate learning. Even administrators, staff and
nonteaching personnel must see to it that the school is very enabling and supportive
for effective learning. The teaching and learning process must not only be confined
between the teachers and the students. Teachers or Instructors should be
technologically advanced to meet the needs of their student.

Relating the QSU’s mission, well, I can see some of the graduates of the University
becoming successful in a way that it could really prove that sometimes the mission is
achieved.

The University’s Vision states that the University displays its role as the leading
center for academic and technological excellence in a way that the institution and the
teachers have the same goal in mind – that is to produce students who are skilled
with right values and competencies that they can use as they go on with their day-to-
day lives. I could see that this institution is really striving hard to be the center of
academic excellence. From the modules they prepared, everything is well organized
and they see to it that students are not left behind.

The University’s Goals is more like idealistic in a way that it is too good to be
true. But it is actually good that QSU is striving hard to achieve such goals in the
world of academics. To achieve such goal, one must realize that the school or
institution does not actually make you achieve your goals but you have to strive hard
to achieve such goal.

As for me, as a student for this institution I will do everything I can to help make this
College a great place for me to study and grow to become a professional who is
God-loving, people oriented, highly motivated, globally competitive, research-
oriented, adaptive to diverse culture.

(Vision, Mission, Objectives)

The Computer Science Department dreams of producing students who are values-
oriented, highly competent graduates and skilled enough to contribute to their
country’s progress. The Department dream of students who are competent and
prepared enough to face everyday life. Teachers, dream to have students who are
holistically developed and ready for life and to produce students who are skilled with
right values and competencies that they can use as they go on with their day-to-day
lives.

As a student I dream of teachers who have the opportunity to help students make a
positive difference in their lives to help them accomplish unexpected goals. I dream of
teachers who enhance learning in achieving highest potential by integrating
technology into the curriculum, integrate conceptual technology learning techniques
that will implement concrete knowledge of technology that will emphasize mastery of
understanding. Through committed support from educators, faculty, staff, parents, and
the community, I hope that teachers will advance learning to support their students.
This will allow students like me to become confident, creative, motivated, technology-
ready students.

Students should be given the opportunity to learn efficiently from educators that are
diligently dedicated and knowledgeable of their profession. Incorporating programs
that reflects one’s mission will ensure learning that is flourishing.
