The art of glass painting has historical roots, with many astounding
pieces on view in religious buildings and ancient houses around the
world. It is comparatively easy to recreate these wonderful works of
art inyour own home, or to give glass items a modern twist using
the same techniques. Allyou need are an eye for beautiful designs,
a steady hand, and the patience to practise the techniques
before attemptingyour own masterpiece!

Hopefully, you now feel confident inyour abilities, and are bursting with ideas for
other glass items to paint. Keep looking for new areas to work on; there may be glass
or mirrored panels aroundyour home which would benefit from an added touch of
colour. You can also find many bargain purchases at markets, bric-a-brac shops,
charity events and car boot sales - simple items will look extremely effective when
you workyour magic on them!
