Completed a 20-day placement within the junior and senior kindergarten program at this Brampton
elementary school, gaining hands-on experience in curriculum and daily lesson planning in accordance
with the Ministry of Education’s Kindergarten Program.
w Leveraged active listening and evaluation skills to conduct evaluations of child learning and
development levels through one-on-one assessments.
w Utilized assessments to guide future learning objectives for students, drawing on strong
communication skills to communicate objectives to parents during interviews.

Joined the William Osler Health System for a 25-day placement as a Student Child Life Specialist, working
under a full-time Child Life Specialist to develop activities and engage child patients in the hospital.
w Provided ongoing education and emotional support to in-patients and their parents, playing an
integral role in bringing some normalcy into their lives during highly stressful times.
w Reached out to the interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to gain an understanding of
limitations prior to surgeries, taking those limitations into account to plan activities for children
awaiting day surgery. Additionally, planned activities post-surgery, communicating to parents
about appropriate post-operative care.
w Strived to put children at ease before their pediatric appointments, earning praise from parents
and supervisor for a natural ability for connecting with and relaxing children.
