Position - OFFICER – Inventory & Logistics Network Planner
Identifying client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard
assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches.
Analyzing and identifying disablers for achieving the desired supply chain operations for the client.
Developing and validating the recommendations for the client in the context of the business goals.
Leading end-to-end supply chain process covering the following areas: Demand planning,
operations planning, capacity planning, supply planning, inventory planning, KPIs & supply chain
performance management.
Identifying cost optimization or revenue enhancement opportunities in one or more areas covering
customer service delivery, inventory management, sourcing, shop-floor practices, maintenance
management, transportation, warehousing etc.

1. Project Title: Integrated logistics Planning Client: EICHER Engineering components, Dewas
Team size: 2
Description: EICHER Engg Components is one of the leading supplier for ROYAL ENFIELD Motors, Chennai.
As per RE’s recommendation, EICHER has to convert their carton box packing into reusable packages (GO
GREEN initiative). We provided low cost optimized packaging and transportation solution with 15% cost
reduction from the current operating model.

2. Project Title: VSM Analysis for Inward vehicles Client: L&T Valves, Kanchipuram
Team size: 1
Description: L&T Valves is the leading manufacturer of small to heavy range valve products and they had
challenges in unloading inward trucks due to shortage of pallets at receiving area. Process gaps were
identified and designed a process for empty pallet retrieval from production line to Inward area through
visual identification.

3. Project Title: Warehouse design and Implementation Client: L&T Heavy Engineering, Coimbatore
Team size: 2
Description: L&T Heavy Engineering caters the growing needs of the Indian Defense organizations and for
many other nations. TVS LSL has to design a new warehouse by consolidating all their existing warehouses
inside their premises and to provide optimized resource with operation solution for in house warehousing
operations. Bottle necks in the project were Inward and kitting process. Process gaps were identified and
eliminated by creating dash boards for each activity with effective lead time and activity owner.
Skills Used: Time & Motion Study, Resource mapping techniques, Warehouse management techniques,
Sequencing.
o Acting Key Account Manager at implementation stage of project
o 100% CSI achieved in the first month of project kick start.
o Dash boards are developed to monitor Inward, Kitting and outward process.
o Prepared SOP & job description for warehouse activities
o KPI is derived in SQDME format to monitor Operational excellence.
4. Project Title: Warehouse capacity Optimization Client: SCHWING STETTER INDIA PVT LTD
Team size: 2
Description: Schwing Stetter is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete equipment’s and TVSLSL were
given a consulting assignment to improve warehouse operations and implement industry best practices.
Our goal of this is this project was to optimize the warehouse capacity and also propose a storage design
for their forecasted growth levels
Skills Used: Warehouse slotting techniques
o Min – Max quantity for each part w.r.t part & location size.
o Key role contributor in redesign of warehouse structure based on FSN movement of parts.
o Developed visual identification of parts by proto type creation for each part
5. Project Title: MHE Productivity improvement Client: Apollo Tyres Ltd, Chennai.
Team size: 3
Description: Apollo tyres Ltd is one of our major customers where we handle their RMS, In plant logistics.
Our goal of this project is to improve the productivity and utilization of the MHE’s. Root causes were
identified by doing complete study of in house operations & conducting time study for each activity. Action
plans were setup accordingly. New techniques were introduced and implemented which contributed
towards increase in productivity.
Skills Used: Time & Motion Study, Value stream mapping, KANBAN system Implementation
o Implementation of KANBAN system at each tyre building machine and achieved error free
operation.
o Route optimization for MHE movement and reduction of MHE by 30%
6. Project Title: FIFO management & Picking efficiency Improvement Client: Visteon CCS, Chennai
Team size: 2
Description: Hanon systems are leading manufacturer of cooling control systems and they had challenges
in the First in First out management and material picking lead time for line feeding. Process gaps were
identified and Location control mechanism introduced in the clients existing ERP system for FIFO adherence
Skills Used: Inventory control techniques, FSN analysis, FIFO, Two bin system
o Analysis and rearrangement of entire parts in warehouse according to FSN model.
o Prepared Check list to arrest bottle necks at receiving area.
o Optimized TAT for Inward vehicles waiting for unloading of materials.
o Prepared SOP for In plant operations & job description for each activity.
o Prepared KPI to monitor warehouse operation capability.
