Greetings!

I am pleased and honored to write you my letter of intent in your school. Education is the
best thing we inherited from our forefathers and to be left as a legacy, a treasure that no one can
steal it. Thus, I am an advocate against illiteracy.

I am Ryan Gallardo Pedregosa, a licensed librarian and license teacher. My first teaching
experience was at St. Uriel College, Inc., Cotabato, for two years and the succeeding years at
Nazareth National High School in my hometown, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, for eight years both
an English Teacher and Librarian. I am an alumnus of Cor Jesu College, Digos City, Davao del
Sur, in a baccalaureate course of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Library Science.
Actually, my friend, Ivy Joy O. Suralta, encouraged me to apply in your prestigious school. I
am still here in the Philippines, still seeking for an item for a Teacher-1 position. But, it is too
slim to have the chances to have the item. That is why i decided to tender my application letter.
Here in the Philippines, I handled Grade 8 students and a head librarian also, where I stuck in
my principle that “Library is the Heart of Institution”. So, we should not deprive the
opportunity of the students to learn.
