    Greenhouse gas pollution is increasing and buildings are contributing to almost


    half of the emission worldwide. A change in the way we see and think about
    buildings is needed as there is a clear connection between buildings and
    climate change. Net positive is a new category of classifying buildings. It
    measures the positive impact of buildings instead of just focusing on zero
    impact houses. This, not only includes the question of how good or ecofriendly
    your building is, but also where it is located and what it is replacing.
