The

 Muses
Jade  Walsh
A  series  of  paintings  of  the  minor  goddesses  of  Greek
mythology  known  as  The  Nine  Muses.

They  are  the  personification  of  literary  arts,  music,  visual  arts
and  science.  We  all  have  that  spark  of  a  Muse  within  us  to  aid
in  our  creative  endeavors.  Each  one  has  a  unique  purpose  and
serve  as  personifications  of  knowledge  and  the  arts.

Inspiration  is  a  burst  of  creativity  usually  from  the

subconscious.  The  ancient  Greeks  believed  inspiration,  or
enthusiasm,  came  from  one  of  the  Muses and  often  called  on
them  in  times  of  need  for  creative  guidance.
