Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay UK Venues commission?
No, UK Venues does not take any commission. All you need to pay is an annual subscription fee
depending on the package you choose and any extra services, such as banners or virtual tours.

When can I update my profile?

Once you register your details and choose the package you wish to go ahead with, you will be sent
a welcome email and can update your profile immediately.

Will I receive any support?

Yes, all venues that register their details – free or paid, will receive as much support as they require,
7 days a week.

Who are you marketing this service to?

In one word – Everyone. People are always looking for venues, whether it is for themselves or for
someone they know. By providing them with an easy to use website, we hope to help them with
their search and help you to promote your venue.

How will I know how many visitors I have had to my profile?

You will be able to check your statistics anytime you like on your admin page. This will show you
how many visitors have viewed your profile, the number of leads you have received via our enquiry
form.

How much information can I add on the page?

As much as you want or need to. Obviously you know more about your venue than we do, so we
allow you to be in control of your profile. This way you can promote the features that you know
people will be interested in.

Should my venue be listed?

Every venue in the UK should be listed on UK Venues. The first package is totally free of charge, so
there should not be any reason why you shouldn’t advertise on this site.

If you would like to add more information to your basic profile, then UK Venues provides 2 more
packages that you can subscribe to dependant on your requirements.

At UK Venues, we have made sure that all extra services
we provide are offered at a reasonable rate.

Banners
Banners can be added to certain pages of ukvenues.co.uk for a monthly fee, depending on
the size of the banner. Sizes of banners that can be added are: 120x60, 120x90 and
468x60.

Virtual Tours
We will come to your venue and take up to 20 Virtual Tours. These will then be edited by
our graphic designer and added to your venue profile. We have tried to keep costs to a
minimum, so that you only need to pay a one-off set up fee and an annual server cost fee.
The virtual tours would remain the property of UK Venues however, they are available to
purchase should you wish to.
