Guiding Questions:

1. The school’s 2012-13 API is 738, a 5 point dip from the prior year. Explain the
school’s instructional focus for the academic year of 2013-14 to narrow the gap in
achievement results.

2. Based on the achievement results for the charter school’s significant subgroup
API, ELs did not meet their target in 2012013. In the academic years 2011-12
and 2012-13, your subgroups, Latino and Socioeconomically Disadvantaged,
also did not meet their targets. Describe the supports/interventions the school
has implemented to ensure there is support for these numerically significant
subgroups.

3. Based on the school’s suspension rate of 4.9% for 2012-13, describe the
school’s efforts to offer alternatives to suspension, thereby, in effect, reducing
suspensions, aligned with the school’s Discipline Foundation Policy.

4. Based on last year’s oversight report as an area of improvement, describe
