INTRODUCTION

I. Background of the Study

The internet has become important and popular source of information in the

Contemporary Education landscape, the Integration Technology has become

imperative to enhance learning experience and academic performance. Internet or

online access has become an indicator of country socio-economic status in the

information society. One significant technology advancement is the utilizing online

references, which offer vast un resources and information accessible anytime. The

integration of online references in education has transformed traditional learning

paradigms, providing students with divert materials beyond conventional textbooks.

Understanding the influence of online reference utilizing on academic performance in

crucial for educators, administrator and policy maker in advising effective

instructional strategies and curriculum development.

This study could have a significance influence not only academic online

courses but then other educational organization the preliminary model developed by

this researcher on the impact of online platforms on students satisfaction and

academic achievement can be wed and elaborated upon, according to the fact that

several organizations provide online training courses and solutions, the benefits of

online learning and its implementation have been previously discussed in correlated

literature (Abuhassna et al, 2020: Abuhassna and Yalaya, 2018; Al-Rahmi et al.,

2018).
In Germany, online education is now a fundamental component of the

educational landscape, accounting for the majority of enrollment growth in higher

education. The increasing student population in outline learning requires instruction

and instructional designers to be aware of the importance of cultural elements that

influence students learning experiences and academic success in an online context

(Kumi-Yeboah, 2018).

In the Philippines, the social media network helps students enhance their

academic performance and understanding lay gathering data and information

(Jhoselle Tus, 2021, 99). In response to this, teachers require several media to kep the

classroom engaged white presenting instructional materials online. A video tutorials

is one of the instructional metheads that help with the learning process (Escador,

2022)

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

One of the key factors Influencing academic achievement is thought to be the

Online learning strategy employed in lectures, higher education has bean fin a surge in

the use of online learning, or evidenced by the sharp rise in online course enrollment rater

in recent years. According to the literature, one of the critical components of the quality

of online education is to ensure learner engagement (Rajobake, Santally, S Rennie, 2020).

Show, Waar koas, & Singleton - Jockson (2010) Make it clear that students who

used the online tool lead higher test results than those who took multiple Choice exams,

using paper and pencil, and Akhter, mahniod (2015) shown that improving online

technology fortare dynamic karting opportunities for students through online education

learing activities in the online package were found to have a modest but significant link

with assessment component grades, and performance in individual online learning

activities as well as the total number of attempts were found to the predictors of the

ultimate course grade (Foung, $ Chun, 2019): meanwhile, the most predative data set for

students was the blended data act that combined traditional cand Online Components

(Lust al, 2018)

According to Zhang et al. (2020) concluded that is a blended learning setting,

failover learning intervention can successfully enhance students, learning habits attitudes

motivation, selp - efficacy, and academic achievement. Despite the fact that learning

achievement is not statistically significant, student's participation in this Online learning

community war higher than that of those who used the english learning system, (Lai, Lin,

I Tho, 2019: Morrer (2018) verified this expected and beneficial impact is on student

motivation of Online learning attitudes and preparedness mean-while, Bailie "(2019)

demonstrated the impact learners having early access to graduate -level coursea that are

fully online.

On the other hand, Tulimajo. Ssentume, and Najjuna (2018) Students attitudes

about using digital technologies for learning, their abilities to utilize them, and their

intents to use then were found to be positively and significantly correlated with their

perceptions of the technologies value. Even while video-assisted learning is becoming

were and more popular, a small number of research revealed that students had very

negative Opinions toward online education practices, primarily due to concerns about the

lack of still and relationship development (Dong, Cao, I Li, 2020; Vandenberg &

Magnuson, 2001). Furthermore, the third-world countries have numerous obstacles

concerning the accessibility and utilization of technical infrastructure.

The usage of digital movies by students in a variety of classroom setting for

learning and academic reasons is fascinating, and this has a significant impact on their

attitudes in the end, there are some evidence from Baker's (2018) study explains that

students' opinions toward readily available technology are quite positive and that it also
improves their learning in terms of skills, grades, and enthusiasm to learn academic

performance.

Similarly, it was also shown that students find technology-based learning to be highly

appealing and that it positively affects their attitudes and perspective (Mark-Parreña,

Galbis - Cordova, and Miquel-Ranera, 2015).

On the other hand, it was shown that students' reluctance to learn can the reduced

by their unhappiness with the subject matter and cognitive challenges. Additionally, it has

been discovered that pupils' learning is negatively impacted by increased exposure to

digital video (Wong et al, 2021).

Based from study of (Wong, 2020), students are deviously aware of the advantages

of using video clips in the classroom for comprehension, lesson enrichment, and even to

add excitement to the materials. Dharm (2021) explains, students can learn a Subject at

their convince and in the most efficient way possible with video-based learning. Videos

are an effective teaching and learning foot for both teachers and students. It provides a

chance for learning and growth for both the teacher and the learner. (Trail & Caukin,

2022). Given that numerous scholars have thoroughly examined the subject, many

students believe that watching videos can be a useful learning aid for students to have a

solid knowledge base that they may draw upon in their future employment, learning is

essential. Many students find that watching movies to be a useful learning tool, and

numerous researchers have thoroughly examined this subject (Wang, 2022).

Teachers can use video presentations to deliver information to students instead of

relying on an unidentified web source. Additionally, it improves pupils' knowledge of

privacy and trust (Trail & Caukin, 2020). On the other hand, as long as students receive

timely feedback to help them further develop their skills in the event that they are given

the same tasked in the future, video presentations can also be employed as an alternative

method of chill assessment (Indriani, 2020).

In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the material and instructional Strategies

captivate the students with their verbal and subject - specific explanations. It is thought

that information or skills Obtained in his banner are more durable. The four main

components of learning motivation that video-based learning addresses are attention,

relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. It is very successful because it offers a

comprehensive model learning package (Dham, 2021).

In order to prepare pre-service teachers to become future English teachers who are

fluent is communication using English in the globalization era, teachers have

implemented in-class oval presentation practice. However, effectively assessing student

presentations in challenging, particularly in terms of practical administration of

assessment. Therefore, a video recording was used as a substitute assessment method to

give students and their peers a chance to assess their speaking and presentation abilities

(Indriani, 2020).
