Mounting position
Mounting position is important to specify in order to fix oil plugs in the right position.
Valid for in-line units. Right-angle inputs can be provided in all sizes.

Pinion data
Standard pinion are machined according to quality class 10 (UNI 7880). Class 7, 8 and 9 on request.
Asymmetric and symmetric crowning, tip relief and other corrections are made according to the specific demands for the various applications.
Pinions are case hardened up to size 150 and induction hardened from size 250 and bigger.
Lubrication
SAE J 306 ”a” gear oil at viscosity of VG 150 (SAE 90) and with EP additives is recommended for Type of soap: Stearate hydroxide lithium 12 or equivalent
BREVINI gear reducers. When service temperatures vary over a wide range, synthetic oil with a VG Consistency: NLGI no. 2

In the RPR serie, one of the support bearings must be lubricated with grease, using the grease made while the gearbox is warm. The oil level should be checked at least once a month. If
