1.0 SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work envisaged under this tender broadly consists of design, supply,
fabrication, installation, testing, hook-up & commissioning of facilities pertaining to fire
protection system on Un-manned wellhead platforms under this tender. All piping,
instrumentation & electrical works pertaining to fire protection system shall be executed
as per Piping, Instrumentation & Electrical Scope of Works respectively.
Scope of Work for respective platforms is as given below
1.1 NJ Platform
Scope of work for NJ Wellhead Platform shall include the following
• Design, supply, fabrication, installation, testing, including procurement and supply of

all materials and commissioning of complete fire water system as described in
Design Basis and P&IDs attached with the Bid. Contractor shall design and provide
fire protection system as per Design Basis for Fire Protection System (A792-000-16-
47-DB-03) attached with the bid and as per National/International codes such as API
& NFPA. Water for Firewater network shall be made available from injection water
network. Contractor to refer Process P&ID no. A792-02-41-220-1113 for the same.
• Design, supply, fabrication/installation, testing, commissioning and guaranteeing of
automatic water spray system, for Process area and Wellhead area, with Deluge
assembly with all accessories and all required piping and fittings as described in
Design Basis and P&IDs attached with Bid.
Automatic Firewater Spray System shall be provided on the following equipments /
facilities:
- Production manifold
- Test manifold
- Gas Injection manifold
- Test Separator
- Crude Condensate Drum
- Glycol Seal Pot
- Well Fluid Launcher
- Instrument & Utility Gas Package
- Utility Gas Cooler
- Wellhead Area
• Supply and installation of 3 no. stand alone type DCP skids as per specification,
having a capacity of 350 lbs, one each on Helideck, Main Deck and Cellar Deck.
• Design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, fabrication, erection, testing,
commissioning, performance guarantee, etc. of CO2 Snuffing System for vent boom
including supply of all materials like CO2 storage cylinders, piping, valves, piping
supports, release system etc. as per Specification of CO2 Snuffing System and
Process P&ID of Effluent Disposal System (A792-02-41-140-1116) attached with the
bid document.
• Procurement, supply, fabrication & installation of Fire Water/Foam Hose Reels,
Portable Fire Extinguishers, as per Design Basis, P&IDs, data sheets &
specifications attached with Bid.

Basis, P&IDs, data sheets & specifications attached with Bid.
1.2 NK Platform
Scope of work for NK Wellhead Platform shall include the following

• Supply and installation of stand-alone type DCP skid as per specification, having
capacity of 350 lbs, on Helideck.

• Design, engineering, preparation of drawings viz, P&IDs, Layouts, Isometrics etc.,
supply of all materials, transportation, installation, fabrication, factory acceptance
test, site acceptance test providing Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manual,
training, two years spares in SPIR (Spare parts interchangeability Record) format,
testing and commissioning complete with all accessories automatically operated
water mist system as per NFPA 750. Water mist system shall be provided on
hydrocarbon handling equipments on the platform. Water supply/storage (minimum
50 Ltrs) for water mist system shall be in the scope of contractor.

The water mist system to be provided shall broadly have the following features
• Optimum pressure at nozzles
• Limited water requirements
• Suitable throw of spray to provide designed cover
• Solid nozzle construction
• System simplicity for maintenance
• Standard water spray components for ease of maintenance. The selected
nozzles are to be certified as water mist spray nozzles.
• Minimum reinstating period after operation.
• MOC suitable for marine environment.
The Water Mist system must be approved and or listed by one of the following:
• FM (Factory Mutual), US
• VdS (Verband der Sachversicherer e.V.), Germany
• UL (Underwriters Laboratory)
• LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board)
1.3 NT Platform
Scope of work for NT Wellhead Platform shall include the following

facilities:
- Test manifold
- Test Separator
- Glycol Seal Pot
- Wellhead Area

Contractor to note that data sheets, specifications & P&IDs furnished in this bid package
for fire protection facilities are indicative and show minimum requirements to be provided
by the Contractor. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to verify all the design / data before
proceeding to the detailed design and engineering.
Contractor shall perform all necessary hydraulic calculations using PIPENET software
(latest version) for fire water system. Sufficient margins shall be taken on flow, pressure
drop etc. to take care of the complete operating range. In case results of hydraulic
calculations show requirement of higher sizes of piping and equipments, the same shall
be provided by the Contractor under the scope of this Contract.

Contractor’s scope of supply shall be in accordance with Scope of Work as mentioned
above, data sheets, Standard Specifications, Job Specifications, P&IDs & Design Basis
attached with the Bid Document. All items, materials, piping, instruments, electrical
items including consumables and non-consumables items, tool & tackles required for
successful completion of works shall be supplied by the Contractor.
