CONCLUSION

This study revealed the critical role of entrepreneurial traits, behaviour and the organizational
innovativeness. This report is containing details covering three main tasks of innovation
management by taking ICBT and global companies as an example. ICBT is well known Sri
Lankan company and Therefore, there is an urgent need to implement their tasks and roles based
on entrepreneurial leadership to adopt the process of innovation.

In the first it has been discussed about the traits possessed by the owner of Bakes By Bella and
was analyzed against ICBT’s internal and external environmental. In the second part of the
report, it has been discussed how the firm is choosing innovative projects using various methods
to get a better outcome using the limited scare resources by improving the coordination
throughout the New Product Development process. At the latter part of the report it has been
discussed by applying the Innovation Framework by Paul Trott to ICBT to get a better outcome
and to achieve the company goals. Nowadays organizations face a highly competitive
environment characterized by rapid changes, increasing complexity, and threats from
competition.

In ICBT’s attempts to secure their position it is essential to improve their competitiveness,

adequate strategies must be developed and implemented within the organization. Finally the
report concludes by mentioning that good practice of innovation under good, experienced
professional can deliver successful products.
