 Formed Miami’s first open source musical collaboration dedicated to the preservation, development and
education of jazz. Performs on all instruments and sings with all the groups.
 The project consists of numerous small ensembles each presenting a different style of jazz for corporate
events and various functions in the community.

 Manages, promotes and organizes all performances. Acquires all musicians, oversees finances and
produces all recordings representative of the groups as well as handles all social media and our website
operating under the umbrella name of @damianjproject.
2012 American Queen Steamboat Company Memphis, TN

 Performed on all production shows, Welcome Aboard and Capitan’s Farewell dinners.
 Backed up and performed as part of the show for several special guest artists such as The Lovin’ Spoonful,
The Platters and Judy Collins.

 In addition to musical duties would also assist with passenger check-in onboard the boat as well as
facilitate luggage transportation to and from the vessel.

 Performed as the tenor saxophonist that split the lead with the clarinetist in the orchestra.
 Also doubled on flute and clarinet as well as improvised as part of the performances.

 Served as Stage Crew secondarily setting up and tearing down all stages as well as taping down and
securing cables and packing up all equipment.

 Promoted to Assistant Road Manager of the orchestra in 2011 to organize logistics and accommodations
throughout the continental United States, all Canadian provinces and Japanese prefectures. Also
produced a bi-weekly itinerary and ran the inventory of all uniforms.

Studies at the University of Memphis; oboe performance and pedagogy with Dr.
Michelle Vigneau; and contemporary music with Tim Goodwin.

 Graduate assistant duties included performing full time with university ensembles such as
Southern Comfort Jazz Orchestra, Contemporary Composition Chamber Players and
Blues Ascendance as well as teach several sections of Music Appreciation courses.
