School Vision
Manurewa East School vision is ‘Kore mahi, Kore kai’. Our current school values are Respect for
People (whanaungatanga) Respect for the Environment (Kaitiaki) and Respect for Learning (Ako).
We acknowledge and respect the story of the vision and values and are currently seeking
consultation from our whanau, community, tamariki and our staff for feedback.
Thank you to the parents who completed our survey. These results will help us to formulate and
create our school vision and values.
Given these results we would like to ensure our school vision and values reflect the voices of our
community. A dedicated team will present a number of potential options to the Board of Trustees
using the information gathered through the survey.
Kind regards
Mary Takatainga
