CYO BASKETBALL
2018-2019
St. Cornelius will be sponsoring boys and girls basketball in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
Region 17 basketball league.

We will have 5th and 6th grade (JV level) and 7th and 8th grade (Varsity level) teams. There are
also parish teams, for those kids that do not make the Junior Varsity or Varsity teams. There
are no cuts... all kids that are eligible and want to play, will be placed on one of our teams.

Season runs from Beginning of November through the middle of February. Tryouts are as
follows at the Garnet Valley Middle School:

Thursday – 11/1/2018 – 7th & 8th Grade Boys – 7:30 – 9:00

Saturday – 11/3/2018 – 5th & 6th Grade Girls – 12:00 – 1:00
Saturday – 11/3/2018 – 5th & 6th Grade Boys – 1:00 – 2:00
Saturday – 11/3/2018 – 7th & 8th Grade Girls – 2:00 – 3:30
Saturday – 11/3/2018 – 7th & 8th Grade Boys – 3:30 – 5:00
Monday – 11/5/2018 – 5th & 6th Grade Boys – 6:00 – 7:30
Monday – 11/5/2018 – 7th & 8th Grade Boys – 7:30 – 9:00
Tuesday – 11/6/2018 - 5th & 6th Grade Girls – 6:00 – 7:30
Tuesday – 11/6/2018 – 7th & 8th Grade Girls – 7:30-9:00

Must be a student at St. Cornelius School or enrolled in one of the religious education programs
to be eligible to participate. You only have to attend one tryout to be eligible for one of our
teams.
