Enhancing access to education and healthcare and skills to the most vulnerable
The SAVE LIVES INITIATIVE is a nongovernmental, nonpolitical, nonreligious organization
with the sole aim of enhancing access to health care and health information to the most vulnerable
with emphasis on research and development. Its operational headquarters is based in Calabar,
Cross River State Nigeria. It was registered with the corporate affairs commission (CAC Reg No
43012) in January 2011

SLI seeks to expand the frontiers of medical information, and education by making both available
to persons who ordinarily would not have access.

In its bid to expand the frontiers of knowledge and explore new techniques in line with
international best practices, the SLI coordinates a research mentorship program for young
scientists. It helps them to get willing mentors and seek grants to support such researches and
publish same in academic journals.

The gender program of the SLI focuses on girl child education, reproductive health, control of
sexually transmitted infections and adolescent behaviour. The employment policy of the
organization has a proclivity towards the physically challenged.

The SLI skill acquisition project focuses on unemployed youths. We create linkages for
engagement of youth in skill acquisition training through partnerships that works.
