NEW PROCEDURES ON PRC ECE

RENEWAL OF LICENSE
JANUARY 31, 2014

PRC requirements:

1. 2 passport-size colored ID pictures, white background, and with name tag

2. old PRC license ID
3. photocopy of your old PRC license ID
4. duly accomplished PRC renewal slip
5. 450 pesos as payment
6. Photocopy of Certificate of Good Standing from IECEP

IECEP requirements (in order to secure the Certificate of Good Standing from IECEP):

1. 45 CPE/CPD points; photocopies and original copies of IECEP (original copy for
verification) seminars/conventions certificates (for self0accreditation, please see
procedures below)
2. 2x2 ID picture (or any size will do)
3. Old PRC ID
4. Photocopy of old PRC ID (front and back)
5. IECEP ID
6. Duly accomplished IECEP membership form
7. 1300 pesos as IECEP membership fee for ECE; 700 for ECT
8. 30 pesos per CPE units/points (for self-accreditation)

FIRST: Make sure you have 45 CPE points within the three year compliance period. Ways
to get 45 cpe points:
 a. thru IECEP seminars and conventions: IECEP AGM (Annual General Membership)
convention=20 CPE points; IECEP Midyear Convention (held in different locations
every summer of every year, e.g. Cebu, Bacolod, Boracay) = 15 CPE points, some
seminars by IECEP chapters (QC, Manila etc) = 4-8 points depends on the seminar
 b. thru self-accreditation (company seminars, trainings, and certifications, self-directed
learnings; see CPD/CPE matrix as your guide)
