 Anticipated incoming patients by preparing rooms and maintaining proper equipment.
 Received patients from EMS personnel and prepared them for examination, started IV’s,
and completed blood draws; performed EKG’s and vital signs.
 Assisted team members in emergency situations such as codes by performing CPR and
assisted with conscious sedation, splinting and applying stitches.

 Accurately documenting all procedures, encounters and interactions between the clinician
and patient into the medical record created in patients name.
 Primary goal of the medical scribe is to increase the efficiency and productivity of the
