Ten
tips!

For
teacher
s on
classro
1- Set classroom rules
immediately and enforce them
consistently.
“This helps to make the
rules as a routine for the
students to let them know
that they are important.”
2- Make the students feel
responsible for their own
learning environment.
“You can put clean up songs
and teach them to clean after
the activities or even before
leaving the classroom once
the music is on. Besides,
this will teach them to be
organized and to avoid
hassle”.
3- Plan for transitions.
“During the school day,
there will be several times
throughout the day when
children are transitioning
from one room or activity to
another. It is important to
have a plan for these
transitions such as line up
and to sing a song while
lining up”.
4- Give praise or good
feedbacks.
“This tip will help the
students to know the light
things and will encourage
them to be involved during
the lesson and participate
always”.
5- Stay organized.
“Being organized and
prepared before attending
the classroom is
essential step to avoid
issues that might happen
during the classroom such
as, forgetting your stuff
or not being prepared for
the lessons so the
children will be out of
control”.
6- Don’t shout.
“Shouting in the classroom
will not make the students
well behaved or even listen
to you. Also, use a moderate
voice while talking to
attract their attention. In
addition, it is better to use
signals such as, stop talking
suddenly and look at the
misbehaving child without
talking so he will realize
that he should listen and
stop misbehaving”.
7- Scan the classroom.
“Develop your general
awareness by keeping
your eyes with the
children even while
working or checking a
student work to indicate
the start of any
misbehavior. Besides,
that will help in
reducing misbehaving
during the classroom”.
8- Stop shaming the children
in front of others.
“Shaming a child when he
misbehaves in front of his
friends in the classroom is
not a good idea and not a
kind of advice even. take him
outside the classroom and
take to him quietly, which
will help you to gain his
respect and love, and he will
“Do
realize his mistake”.
“Do”
not
do”
9- Be patient and
friendly.
“All children like when
the teacher is kind and
friendly with them, and
that will lead to sharing
the love and respect
between the teacher and
the students. Moreover,
being patient is necessary
for the teacher and being
calm will benefit you to
give more and go forward
instead of being angry and
nervous all the time”.
10- Be mindful of
different learning paces
and levels.
“Make sour that all the
students understand the
rules in the same way by
asking them questions
such as; what did you
understand from this
rule? Why? So, that will
?
help you to know did that
get the point or not”.
General advice…

- Make sure to have your

own teaching techniques
and rules according to
what does your classroom
needs or ask for advice.
Moreover, always use
positive language
instead of negative even
while planning for
classroom rules to
encourage the students
to learn and apply
successfully and always
be POSITIVE.
