ARRANGEMENT OF CHAPTERS*

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: It should encapsulate all the important points under the
following headings in BRIEF. 1 page
CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION - 5 Pages

1.1 Introduction to study.

1.2 Scope of study.

1.3 Literature review.

1.4 Statement of problem

1.5 Objectives of the study

1.6 Need of the study

1.7 Methodology of the study

1.8 Limitations of the study

CHAPTER-2: INDUSTRY PROFILE AND COMPANY PROFILE - 20 pages

2.1 Under industry profile briefly about background of the industry

2.2 Under company profile: back ground and inception of the company, objectives of the
company, milestones of the company, promoters, vision, mission, and quality policy,
products/services profile, area of operation, infrastructural facilities, competitors information,
SWOT analysis, future growth and prospects.

CHAPTER-3: THEORITICAL FRAMEWORK OF THE STUDY - 10 Pages

CHAPTER-4: ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION - 40 Pages

CHAPTER-5: FINDINGS SUGGESTIONS AND CONCLUSION - 5 pages

Note: All Conclusion & Suggestions should be based out of findings

Some brief note on your learning experience in the organization and conclusion about your
project.
BIBLIOGRAPHY

Reference like articles, books websites etc used in the project work must be included in this
section strictly follow the citation style of MLA’s handbook.

APPENDIX

This will include printed secondary data and any questionnaires used for the study.

PROJECT FORMAT GUIDE LINES

1. Reports should be typed neatly only on one side of the paper with 1.5 spacing on a A4 size
bond paper (210 *297mm) margin should be: left 1.25”, Right-1”, Top and bottom 0.75”.
2. The project report must be paper back bound, do not insert transparency sheets in the
report, do not use spiral binding.
3. The project report must contain 80 -120 pages.
4. The total number of reports to be prepared is four.
5. Before taking the final printout the approval of concern guide in must.

OUTLAY OF THE REPORT

1. The chapters, sections and subsections may be numbered in the decimal form.
Ex: chapter 2, sections as 2.1, 2.2 etc and the subsections as 2.2.3, 2.5.1etc.

2. Each chapter must be left justifies (font size 16) followed by the title of chapter centered
(font size 18) sections/ subsection numbers along with their headings must be left justified
with section number and its heading (font size 14). The body or the text of the report
should have (font size 12) Times New Roman.
3. The figures and tables must be numbered chapter wise for ex: fig 2.1 block diagram of a
series binary adder. Preferably all figures and tables are to be placed either at the top or the
bottom of a given page.
Binding :
The PROJECT REPORT should be properly HARD BOUND , using SKY BLUE color paper with the contents of
the cover page printed in color. Please refer the cover format attached
