DEVELOPMENT

1. Subraya el adjetivo correcto.

a. I was surprised / to see you at the concert last night; Sam! I didnt know
you were / interested in jazz music.
b. I didn't like the play at all. lt was so / boring!
c. The museum we went to at the weekend was / fascinating. You have to go!
d. We were a bit disappointed / with that new musical
e. Ann wanted to go out dancing last night, but she felt / tired
f. I don't think you'll like that new movie. It's really frightening / frightened!

LEARNING:

Some participles (as interesting interest) can be used as adjectives. Adjectives

describe "something or someone".
Those who end in "-ed" are called "past participle" (past participle) and those that end
in "-ing" "present participle" (present participle).
The difference between those who end up "-ed" and "-ing" is that "Past participle-"
(ed) refers to the feeling of how people feel about something. Example: Tobias is
interested in soccer. (Tobias esta interesado)
Whereas "Present participle (-ing)" is used to say the cause of that feeling.
Playing football is INTERESTING (jugar futbol es interesante). In summary it is not
the same to say "(I am boring) Soy aburrido " to "estoy aburrido (I'm bored)"

2. My favorite movies are:

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation

Hotel Transylvania 3 is just the best animated film in the world. Why? Well, It’s just
fascinating. It’s full of funny scenes and great special effects. This film is about a
Monster family which starts a luxury cruise in order to have fun and get out of the
routine. Everything becomes more and more complex when Mr. Drac falls in love with
a misterious Captain. If you want to see what happens at the end, you must watch it.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid was supperb. The special effects were just surprising and
dazzling. I had never seen a movie like that. The plot is about a young journalist and
his niece who discover a beautiful and charming sea creature, and they believe that

it’s a real Mermaid. The costumes are just beautiful. There are many plot-twist and at
the end something amazing is revealed. I really recommend you this film.

Transformers: The Last Knight

Transformers is just thrilling. In this film you’ll be surprised and amazed because of
the special effects. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. The plot is about a war
between humans and desepticons. Optimus Prime has gone and the only way to safe
the humanity is buried in the “past secrets” when Transformers lived in the earth
thousands years ago. The performance is just wonderful. It is thrilling, isn’t it? You
can’t miss it.

3. CONVERSATION

WILF: Hi Yael. Fancy doing something tonight?

YAEL: I don’t know yet. Have you anything in mind?
WILF: Yes. Would you like to go to the mall?
YAEL: Depends.
WILF: On what?
YAEL: I was there yesterday. What do you suggest?
WILF: We can go to the cinema.
YAEL: Sounds interesting. Do you have any film in mind?
WILF: Yeah. The Little Mermaid.
YAEL: Come on! It’s a movie for girls!
WILF: Did you see the tráiler?
YAEL: No yet. But It sounds boring and nothing interesting. How about
Transformers 3?
WILF: Yeah, that’s a another good option. See you at 3?
YAEL: Yes, 3 is ok to me. Bye bro.
WILF: Bye my friend.
