„ Proposals for installation of Bulk Milk Coolers at various

milk collection points.
„ Proposals for pasteurization and packing of raw milk
alone. (Proposals of pasteurization of milk along with
value added products should be considered for grant in
aid)
„ Proposals for expansion/ modernization of the same unit
for which MFPI grant has already been availed for setting
up in the same location or activity.
„ Proposals who made application for grant in aid after
commencement of commercial production.
„ Proposals who have already availed grant in aid TWO
times including its sister concern from MFPI.

„ IN CASE OF BHAGAR PROCESSING ONLY ONE GRANT IS

 ELIGIBILITY OF PLANT & MACHINARIES IN MILK PROCESSING
UNITS.

„ Eligibility of P/M in milk processing project is to be worked

out on the basis of milk products proposed to be
manufactured.
For example – if company proposes to process Cream, Butter,
Ghee, Paneer etc. the list of plant & machineries must have
Cream separator, Butter churner, Multipurpose vat, Ghee
Boiler, Ghee Clarifier, Ghee settling tank, Coagulation vat,
Paneer press, Paneer hooves, packing M/c etc.
In case of Ice cream processing, continuous freezer must be
installed.
„ Ineligible Plant/Machineries – Computers, A/C, office
furniture,Close circuit cameras, Milk tankers, Milk cans,
Erection and commissioning charges,Transportation charges,
Technical consultancy fees, vehicles, fire equipments, fuels,
consumables, second hand/ old machines/ refurbished
machineries, Electrical fixtures not mounted on machines or
processing area etc.

ELIGIBILITY OF PLANT & MACHINARIES IN MEAT PROCESSING
UNITS.

„ Eligibility of P/M in meat & Meat processing project is to be

worked out on the basis of meat products proposed to be
manufactured.
For example – if company proposes to process Poultry meat
products etc. the list of plant & machineries must have
proper slaughter equipments, Freezing facility, Rendering
plant, ETP, packing M/c etc.
In case of raw meat/ beef processing, carcass splitting
equipments, fat trimming knives, meat mincer,
grinder,packing machine etc. must be installed.
„ Ineligible Plant/Machineries – Computers, A/C, office
furniture,Close circuit cameras, Transport vehicle , Erection
and commissioning charges,Transportation charges,
Technical consultancy fees, Refer Van, fire equipments, fuels,
consumables, second hand/ old machines/ refurbished
machineries, Electrical fixtures not mounted on machines or
processing area etc.

 ELIGIBILITY OF PLANT & MACHINARIES IN CONSUMER
PRODUCTS.

„ Eligibility of P/M in Consumer products projects is to be

worked out on the basis of final products proposed to be
manufactured.
For example – if company proposes to process Bakery items like
Bread, Buns etc, the list of plant & machineries must have
Flour sifter, Dough Kneader, Dough Divider, Dough Rounder,
Moulding M/c, Conveyer, Oven, Slicer, Packaging M/c etc.
In case of Biscuits, machineries are same but their specifications
are different suitable for Biscuits. Oven is a critical Machine.

Ineligible Plant/Machineries – Computers, A/C, office

furniture,Close circuit cameras, Transport vehicle/ Delivery
Van , Erection and commissioning charges,Transportation
charges, Technical consultancy fees, fire equipments, fuels,
consumables, second hand/ old machines/ refurbished
machineries, Electrical fixtures not mounted on machines or
processing area etc.

 ELIGIBILITY OF PLANT & MACHINARIES IN OIL MILLING UNITS.

„ Eligibility of P/M in oil milling projects is to be worked out on

the basis of Expeller, Solvant Extraction plant and Edible oil
refinery plant proposed to be Established.
For example – if company proposes to Establish Solvent
Extraction plant, the list of plant & machineries must have
Rotary seal, Dessolvantizer,Evaporators, Toaster, Meal
discharge rodler etc.

Ineligible Plant/Machineries – Computers, A/C, office

furniture,Close circuit cameras, Transport vehicle , Erection
and commissioning charges,Transportation charges,
Technical consultancy fees, fire equipments, fuels,
consumables, second hand/ old machines/ refurbished
machineries, Electrical fixtures not mounted on machines or
processing area etc.

Dispatch dock,laboratory etc.

„ Ineligible civil work – Administrative office, staff

rooms, workers change rooms, Toilets, sanitation
rooms, Security/ guard room, compound walls,
approach roads etc.
