1. Q: Tell me about yourself.

A: My name is Nirma/Mutia, I live in Banjarmasin. I’m a graduate an International


Class of Diploma degree from University of Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin. I have 4
years experience in Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin as emergency care units.

2. Q: What made you choose nursing as a career?


A: Nursing is my passion. I love providing comfort and education to those in need,
and intervening in difficult situations. Every day, in small and large ways, my
existence truly matters to those in my care.

3. Q: What are your strengths?


A: My biggest strengths are my compassion and my ability to solve difficult
problems. And also, I’m a very energetic person and a good communicator.

4. Q: Tell me about a time you had to handle a difficult patients.


A: I’ve often faced difficult patients. Handling them is part of the job. One patient in
particular was yelling at everyone. After that, I talked to him and realized he was
upset over a hopeless diagnosis. I told the hospitalist and they was able to get a
therapist to speak with him. After that he was actually pleasant. Treating people with
respect can often have surprising outcomes.

5. Q: What are your weaknesses?


A: I do not quit easily until the work is done in a proper manner; it’s my major
weakness.

6. Q: Do you prefer to work alone or as part of a nursing team?


A: I love working with a good team because I believe that providing the best care and
treatment in a hospital is a team effort.

7. Q: Why do you want to work at this hospital?


A: I would like to work at this hospital because of its excellent reputation for
emergency medicine. I was always impressed at the thoroughness, professionalism,
and skill of the doctors and nurses that I encountered here. I am looking forward to
applying what I have already learned while still having the opportunity to learn from a
seasoned and professional staff.
