DRY BARREL
FIRE HYDRANTS
Dry barrel fire hydrants are primarily designed for areas with
frost, where the water main is located below the ground
frost zone. AVK dry barrel fire hydrants meet or exceed
AWWA C-502 and are UL/ULC listed and FM approved.
They are designed for high performance, easy repair and
minimum end user costs for labor and inventory.

Our high quality FM approved monitor is cast completely in brass for high
corrosion resistance. The special casting shape with low friction loss due
to the patented vaned elliptical waterway ensures a high flow rate of up to
4732 liters/min.
It has a high vertical travel from -45˚ to +90˚ (150˚) and a continuous
horizontal travel of 360˚. The monitor can be supplied with a variety of
nozzles to suit the requirements of each customer.
