The thriving Bridgewater Bookstore converted four alcoves into cozy reading nooks, where patrons may
browse through books before buying. Each nook is furnished with a different style of chair, as well as with
a small table made from a different wood (one is pine). A hand-crafted rug with a different design delin-
eates the boundaries of each nook, and a different style of lamp (including a torchiere) illuminates each
